Whitley Bay FC are looking for a Match Day Secretary. This is an ideal opportunity for anyone wishing to get involved in Football Administration.
The successful applicant will need to be available for as many games as possible played during the season both home and away, and they must have transport.
Duties will include: for home games being at the ground about 2 hours (evening games 1½ hours) before kick off ensuring everything is ok in both Dressing Rooms, liaising with the Manager to get his team for the game and completing the Team Sheet for submission to the Referee; ensuring the result is communicated to the League Secretary immediately after full time; completing the Team Sheet for submission to the League Registration Secretary.
For away games, it will involve picking up the playing kit and equipment from the ground and getting to the venue about 1½ hours before kick off and again liaising with the Manager to get his team for submission to Referee; after the game picking up the kit and equipment and returning it to Hillheads for laundering.
This is a voluntary position but full training will be given for what is an important position to ensure everything runs smoothly on Match Days.
