01/04/2010 - Barwell Match Preview

It couldn't be much simpler, the winners of this game on Saturday will be playing at Wembley on May 9th. After the thrilling 3-3 draw at Barwell last week it really is all to play for this weekend, Whitley will take confidence from their late comeback thanks to 2 goals from Paul Chow, but Barwell must also be confident with the season they've had and the clinical nature of their finishing on Saturday. The Leicestershire side are travelling up on the morning of the game. Whitley are definitely without Phil Bell who scored the opener at Barwell after he suffered a knee injury midweek and there are major doubts over Coulson and Timmons leaving Whitley short of cover in defence. Manager Ian Chandler remains confident that his squad is strong enough to reach Wembley for the second year running in front of a bumper crowd at Hillheads. Ticket sales are going well and you can also pay on the day, but fans are advised to arrive early with as many as 3,000 expected for the big game.
