01/05/2010 - Wembley Build Up

There is lots going on at the moment as you might expect, so it's time for a quick catch up. The Whitley Bay chamber of trade are selling club merchandise from their main office and have arranged for Blue and White bunting to decorate the town. The bunting can now be seen on Station Road, Whitley Road and Park View A collection of Bay supporters are also selling various WBFC items at Tynemouth Market on Sunday. For those of you who are looking for a game this weekend Whitley Bay Women's development team have reached a cup final to be played at Hillheads on Sunday at midday. This is an excellent achievement from the side who have beaten several established first teams on route to the Northumberland League Cup Final where they will play Lowick. The club shop will also be open for this game for anyone wanting to get kitted out for Wembley. MM
